About Us

We work by hand. Throwing the pots, finishing and drying, packing and salt-firing the kiln, step by step, with care. It is honest, absorbing work, and that is where the difference from a slip-cast piece lies.

We are a small pottery throwing and salt-firing stoneware by hand. To us a pot is more than clay: thrown by hand and salt-fired, it has an honest glazed skin, it stands up to daily use and it lasts. That is what our work is about.

What pleases us most are the kitchens and shops that come back for the next ware, and the stoneware used and kept for years. That is the sign that craft and care are worth something.
